Dyslexia Awareness Week (early Nov 2011) was here again and artist and film maker Mike Juggins had a busy week lined up.

Mike recorded two short monologues about dyslexia which will be aired on BBC Radio Wiltshire this week.

He was involved in the Dys-play event in London. This festival celebrates the creative works of Dyslexic Playwrights, Poets and Filmmakers. It is an opportunity to see original theatre, artwork, music, poetry and other amazing work by dyslexic artists, writers and performers. http://www.makingtheatrework.com/whats-on/

Mike also attended the British Dyslexia Association Spellbound Ball as two of his paintings were auctioned as part of this fundraising event.

Five works on display at Buckfast Abbey

Five paintings are currently on display at the Grange Resteraunt at Buckfast Abbey, Devon.

Buckfast Abbey Summer Exhibititon:

Mike, alongside his wife Liz showed new works at Buckfast Abbey during late July. Both curated the exhibition.

Birdwood Gallary Totnes March 2nd - Sat 5th 2011. Open 10 - 4.45 daily

Artist Mike Juggins will be exhibited at the Birdwood Gallery in Totnes to cover a cancilation.

He has also invited local emerging artist Isobel Sullivan to exhibit a selection of her work alongside his own. Mike is known for his support and encouragement of emerging artists and has invited isobel as an endorsement of her talet and beautuful images.
